Dr. Michelle Pfeffer-Sollecito is a 1993 graduate of the New York Chiropractic College. She has had the privilege of practicing throughout the New York area specializing in Chiropractic Spinal Care together with Therapeutic Massage. She has treated alongside other healthcare professionals such as physical therapists, neurologists as well as internists. Her certifications include Electrodiagnostic Testing and Kinesiotaping for pain and inflammation.
Dr. Pfeffer-Sollecito has been the team chiropractor for the L.I. Lizards Professional Lacrosse Team along with many other professional athletes and professional dancers. Her warmth, professionalism and years of practice have kept her patients coming to her and continuing their Chiropractic Care with her for years to come.
I graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2011 with a Doctorate In Physical Therapy and started Spine And Muscle in 2020 with the vision of providing high quality physical therapy services focusing on Manual Therapy intervention. Human anatomy and manual therapy are my passions, and they led me to get my Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy (MCMT) in 2013.
Sports have also been a tremendous passion of mine and it gives me great pleasure to enhance the mobility of athletes and further their careers. Unlike most physical therapy facilities that pack out gyms giving you little to no attention, at Spine And Muscle we keep the patient to therapist ratio very low so YOU are the main focus during each visit.
From elderly patients to professional athletes I provide the same high quality service for all.
As a Certified Manual Physical Therapist I believe that your body will heal itself when provided with full joint mobility and appropriate functional movement patterns.
I do not believe in passive Physical Therapy treatment. Manual therapy and movement based treatment techniques yield greater results in pain relief and restoring function.
